This dream frying pan has been born: it has non-stick properties that make it easy to clean and prevent food from sticking, but because it is not coated, there is no need to worry about the coating peeling off and making it unusable.
Corelle, an American manufacturer known for its durable tableware, has created the all-new DuraNano using patented metal welding technology.
The lotus effect is the ability of lotus leaves to repel water. The surface of the leaf has tiny, invisible bumps that reduce the surface area that comes into contact with objects, preventing water, dirt, and dust from adhering to the leaf. DuraNano uses a new welding process to create a surface that is in the same condition as a lotus leaf, creating the same water-repellent properties as a lotus leaf. It is non-stick and easy to remove dirt even without a coating.

This non-stick frying pan is a dream come true, as it can be used just like a cast iron frying pan. Its beautiful and stylish appearance makes you want to collect the whole series. It also comes in a presentation box, making it a great gift.

*Neither coated nor iron!? The third frying pan

It looks like a coating, but it's not a smooth surface like a fluorine coating. It has a slightly sticky surface like a silicone coating.
A notable feature of this coating is that there are no rules that have been in place until now to protect it, but that does not mean that there is no maintenance required.
I think this is perfect for people who don't like coated frying pans because they have to be replaced, or who don't like fluororesin for some reason, but find stainless steel or iron frying pans too difficult.
As for the non-stick properties, it's a little different from what you might imagine with a fluorine coating.
The usage and maintenance are also different from coated frying pans.
The lotus effect creates invisible unevenness that makes it difficult for surfaces to stick, but these uneven surfaces can also easily collect dirt.
If you thoroughly remove this with a scrubbing brush, and if possible, smooth out the surface with oil to prevent dirt from getting into the uneven surfaces, you will be able to fully experience the lotus effect.

Because it is not a coating,
1. Can be used in ovens and on high heat
2. You can wash it with hot water.
3. Metal spatulas are also OK
4. Dishwasher safe
5. It's free of PFAS and cadmium, solving most of the frustrations that come with using coated frying pans. While this might make you question its authenticity, it also comes with a 10-year manufacturer's warranty, so you can try it out with peace of mind.
