This radiation thermometer allows you to check the temperature of an object without directly touching it. It is safe to use as your hands are unlikely to come into direct contact with oil splashes or steam.

The temperature measurement range is -30°C to +400°C, making it suitable for a wide range of cooking applications, including controlling the temperature of oil for tempura and fried chicken, baking bread, scalding coffee, baby formula, and chocolate, and washing vegetables at 50°C.

This thermometer also comes with a backlight that makes the display easy to read even in dark places. When the battery level is low, a mark will appear on the LCD screen, making it very convenient to know when it's time to replace the batteries.

When you look at the recipe, it tells you things like the temperature of the oil and frying pan, but if you're not quite sure what to do, this is very useful and recommended.

It is also useful when cooking with an uncoated iron frying pan.
